Open Pits Day
Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Île Ste Hélène
9h-13h
I arrived at the track at about 10h15. It was just as crowded as last year. They had a Bridgestone ticket thing in place where you had to go get your ticket at a dealer but they were giving them at the entrance also so it was just as packed as last year. With some friends we walked around looking at everything. Ferrari did not have much out but they had one full car up at the start of the pitlane for everyone to look at. The other teams were busy doing various tasks. They had pieces of their cars outside for everyone to photograph. I spent a lot of time in front of the Renault space. It was really nice to watch them work on the cars. I got to see 2 drivers. Jenson Button was walking on the track surrounded by his team, no one seemed to notice him. Nahrain
Karthikeyan
was trying to get from the track to his team's spot in the pitlane but got flooded with fans.
