(As I didn't keep a precise record of this day, here's a condensed summary.)
We drove to Oban to see the McCaigs Tower and view over the harbour. We then drove through the Yorkshire Dales to the city of York. The York Minster gothic cathedral looked fabulous, lit with the sunset light. I also found funny how they call their ATM's "Hole in the wall," and really, that's what they are! Old York is pretty, with for example some tudor architecture houses or the Shambles!
