This morning I got up at 6h45. I hit snooze on my alarm and got up a bit later at 7h. I got ready and went down for breakfast. But it wasn’t opened yet, only in 15 minutes (7h30). So I paid 1£ for 30 minutes of Internet but only used half of the time. I then had breakfast. At 8h I checked-out and I wasn’t even on the check-out list for that day! I took the Underground from West Kensington to Marble Arch, having to change lines twice… With heavy bags. It was also quite full, morning rush hour passengers going to work. At Marble Arch I was really thirsty from carrying my heavy bags so I stopped to buy some water before continuing on to the Hertz. My Australian friend, his mom and his aunt were all there. We boarded the black Ford Mondeo and were on our way to explore the UK! I sat in front in the passenger seat and was the navigator!

It took us about an hour to get out of London and then we went to Salisbury for our first stop. We explored the Cathedral and I got some food.

Then we were off to Stonehenge. You have to pay to be able to walk around the structure. It was 4£ something for students. I was the only one who went in, the 3 others waited on the other side of the fence. I walked around the rocks listening to the audio-guide and taking photographs. I loved the structure and seeing it from all angles was great!

Then we went to Avebury to see another rock formation, these you’re free to walk around. There were also a lot of mommy sheeps with baby lambs. It was fun watching them. They really were not scared of us humans!

Another stop was Wells. It took us a while to get there because of deviations and tiny tiny swirly roads. But it was worth it in the end… The city centre was cute, a nice Cathedral, etc. They were also filming a movie near the church, called Hot Fuzz (saw it on signs). I bought some cold medications as I was not feeling good… My nose was runny, I had a headache and just felt not good.

We got to the hostel in Bath and I went down with my friend for a meal. I ordered the fish and chips but I got sick. I left the table to go to the bathroom and I threw up! I can’t remember the last time I got sick like that!!! I just felt like being home and going to sleep in my bed. Of course I didn’t finish my meal. I showered and at about 22h I was in bed for the night.
