Sept. 4 15h06 Singapore Time
I am just back from a lot of walking! I left the hotel at 8h because I did not know how far the meeting place was. On the way there, I saw a lot of cute stray cats! So many of them everywhere! Also, I had to find out how to cross the street. I did not see the underpass at first so I was a bit confused. They are not everywhere, but these underpasses are really efficient as traffic never has to stop to let people walk! I met up with Andy at the Raffles Landing Site and we walked around Singapore together. We saw Little India, the high-tec area including Suntec City and the Colonial District which I found the nicest... It was so warm dat I sweated so much that I ever sweat in my life! Not really nice when you're walking around to see things. I also saw an Aldo shoe shop which we have a lot in Canada, and if I am not mistaken, they are a Canadian shop! I also saw 3 dead cochroaches, which was pretty gross! The first that I ever see. People here are very nice, an old man riding a bike stopped by after we had let him go through to talk with us, asking where we were from and telling the story of his son which lives in California. I am kind of hungry but I do not know where to go to eat. I will first plan what to do tomorrow and then find food.

Sept. 4 20h45 Singapore Time
I went to look for food and I found a 7 Eleven convinience store where I bought chips, orange juice and water for 6$Singapore. On the way there I finally saw people using the strange metal things to make fire that I saw all over the city. They pray, burning pages of paper incent. I bought rice with seafood but I did not find it so yummy... Back at the hotel, I showered and at about 17h I fell asleep watching television. At 19h I woke up and ordered from the hotel's restaurant: pizza for 16$Singapore. It was yummy but the ham was way too salty! I am going to sleep soon.
