I took the bus from Weesp to the train station, then the train to Amsterdam Centraal again. I met again with my 2 Australian friends. We began the day with a walk around the Amstelveld area (Blauwbrug, Magerebrug, Willet-Holthuysen Museum, Amstelkerk…) Afterwards, we went to the Amsterdam Historisch Museum. It was handy to have my ISIC card again, got in for cheaper! The museum was huge. We got in at 13h30 and were out at 16h. We saw many paintings, videos about Amsterdam's history, old objects, etc. My favourite part was the 1900-2000 part, where we saw things about how it was to live in Amsterdam in the older times, for example model houses, old clothing, toys, etc. After the visit, I thought it was best to come back to Weesp for dinner, as I did not want to be late. I suggested to my friends to go to the Leidseplein for their dinner, as it is an area where there are a lot of restaurants. I offered them to call me if they wanted to meet up the next day, but that evening they did not call. I'm guessing they planned something nice to do the next day. Back in Weesp, we had dinner, watched television and relaxed. My friend's family were leaving on a holiday the next morning so they were busy getting everything ready.
