Ok, this was the most crazy day ever. We did so much walking, saw so many things, it would be like 10 pages long if I had to explain it all. So, down at the bottom of this page, you'll find a map which shows all the walking we did that day, open it!

We had to take a bus from our hotel to the RER station to get inside Paris. I am grateful I spoke French, we didn't have much trouble getting there. We just got lost in the Metro a little while, didn't know which line to take or how to find it, but eventually we figured it out. We got out at the Eiffel Tower, and I also saw the Australian embassy (Picture 1). Then we decided to climb up the stairs to the first storey of the tower. I was afraid to go higher, so we enjoyed the sight and went back down! I was so happy to be back on the ground!

After, we continued with our walk, and my friend took an artistic pic of me with the Eiffel tower (Picture 2). He also scared me while I was looking at the nice pigeons (Picture 3). Then we walked towards the Arc de Triomphe, through the Champs Élysées where we had a good lunch at the Brioche Dorée cafe. I had a good sandwhich with a delicious fruit mini pie for desert. After we went on walking. We stopped in a little mall to buy gifts, postcards, and candies, because I am a sugar freak. I need to to give me energy!

We walked along the Champs Élysées to the Place de la Concorde where we we could see the Arc de Triomphe from far (Picture 4). At this place, there was the Obelisque, a huge ferris wheel and a fountain (Picture 5). my friend fell in love with the mermaid at that fountain... (Picture 6). Wait to see my dream guy!

Then we went on a ride in the ferris wheel, it was very high, I was a little scared, but less than in the Eiffel tower. We had good view on the Champs Élysés (Picture 7), the Louvre (Picture 8) and Montmartre (Picture 9). After that ride, we walked through gardens to the Louvre (Picture 10) and there I found my dream man (Picture 11). I saw the nice glass pyramids that form the entrance to the Louvre museum.

Then we walked to the Paris Opera, a beautiful building (Picture 12) and the inside was spectacular also (Picture 13), too bad the guided tours weren't on that day! I got a Ferrari shirt in a Ferrari shop but I can't remember where and when so I'll just put it here. We went into a very crowded mall, the Lafayette galery, and it gave me a headache. We left to take the metro and find a good place to have dinner.

We went in the Latin part of the city and walked around hoping to find a good place to eat. A classmate of my friend's told him it was a good spot. We were walking and I saw this nice library, the Canadian library it seemed because there was many books about my country and a flag (Picture 14). Eventually we got to the Notre-Dame church and took pics there (Pictures 15 & 16) before heading back into the little narrow streets, with nice little restaurants and a perfect atmosphere. my friend thought it was the nicest thing he saw all day, this neighbourhood.

We finally decided to go in the Montagnard restaurant. I had a delicious dinner, I was so full when we left. We still stopped at the Häagen Dazs cafe for some ice cream desert. It was very sweet. And then, crazy as we are, we decided to walk allllllllllllllllll the way back to the Arc de Triomphe where the tour bus was supposed to pick us up. It was a long walk, I was so tired, but in good company, so I can't complain! It's amazing we got to see all of this in one day, I will remember it all my life.
