We left my friend's appartment in a rush that morning, I was scared we'd miss the train to go to Utrecht where the tour bus "Peter Langhout" would pick us up. We did make it on time, I think I stressed out my friend a bit though, I really didn't want to miss the train!

We were on for a long trip through Belgium and Paris that lasted from 7h30 to 5pm aproximatively. We had a great spot in the bus, I was really comfy, sitting on the window side. my friend was trying to make me realize how all these countries looked different, but I didn't see much of a difference... At a stop in Belgium we took a pic on the side of the restaurant. This is the only proof I have that I really was in Belgium, you see the price of the soup in BEF, Belgian Francs (Picture 1).

When we got in France, I was amazed. It was French everywhere!! I was looking outside, reading all the signs. I felt home kinda. Also, the landscape in France is different, there is hills, little mountains, and the land looked more like in my country. We got in Paris as the sun set, and we went on a tour in a boat on the Seine. We saw all the nice bridges which were all different, museums, and the Eiffel Tower. It was nicely lighted for the new millenium. The light made the tower glister 10 minutes each hour, and we were lucky enough to be there when it was glistering (Picture 2).

After, we had dinner in some restaurant with pre-determined menus in Dutch. The food was okay and cheap. We also had 3 people, a guy with a guitar and another couple singing songs, Champs Élysées, and Piaf song I can't remember the title of anymore. It was very cute.

We got a light tour of the city, and saw the famous tower once again (Pictures 3 & 4). Then the bus took us to the hotel, where my friend and I had our own little nest of love, or just our plain hotel room rather..!
