We were supposed to get up early (9am) to go visit the North of the island but when the alarm rang, we decided to stay in bed. Later on, the cleaning lady came so we needed to rush getting up and fixing the beds.

We left to go get breakfast and also visit the two Petra churches (the Mariakerk and the one on the rock). We came back home after dropping by a game shop to buy Leo's (kid I take care of in Holland) souvenir. We had bread and Nutella on the terrace and also wrote postcards. We showered and left to go in town. It was clouded in Petra for the 1st time.

On the way, we saw a snake for the second time! My friend did not see him at first, so he had to stop abruptly about 1 meter away and that scared the snake that left very quickly. We went to mail a few postcards and I checked my e-mail on Inet (we also read there about P.Fortuyn being killed... huge news!).

Afterwards we sat outside at a grill house restaurant. The owner was very much like a busy bee, wanting to give everyone a good service. My friend drank Ouzo again (pure!) and we had ok food. Then I went to buy a souvenir for Ineke and Ronald (the parents of the kids I take care of) before coming back home. We found my vest hanging there on the door knob and also 3 big grasshoppers on the door (attracted to light) so we chased them away before entering and going to sleep!
