This day was dedicated to visiting Monaco.
We got up fairly early, got croissants and took the train
to the F1 city. This was the closest I've ever been to Formula
1 before. We got out at the Station and we first saw a nice
church neat the Ste-Devote turn, then a monument. We then
hicked up all the way to the Royal Palace hoping to be on
time for the changing of the guards at 11h55. It was an impressive
sight. We walked around on the 'hill' to see a beautiful church.
Walking back down we saw a Ferrari dealer. We then had a drink
while writting postcards. Afterwards, we decided to walk all
around the Formula 1 track. We were tired, but there were
nice sights like the Casino with it's huge garden. I was thinking
I would definitely love to come back to Monaco for a Grand
Prix! Afterwards, we found a cosy restaurant neat the Royal
Palace and I had delicious lasagna! The food was very good,
but also very expensive!
