We woke up really early to be at the ferry for 5h!! One of the friends who was at the couscous dinner also took the ferry that morning so we sat together and chatted. The ferry ride went well though I felt a tiny bit nauseous. Nothing too bad though!

And we arrived in Newfoundland ! We stopped at the gas station in Ste-Barbe. We wanted to clean the car's windows as they were really dirty from the gravel road (to go to the lighthouse it was gravel). There wasn't any water with the squeegee thingy! My boyfriend went in to ask for a water refill… I would have simply done without it! But as he said… It's true… We're paying for gas and this service so we should be able to use it!

After that we were off to L'Anse-Aux-Meadows Viking site! It was quite nice… I liked the guided tour we got… It was more informative than simply touring the archaeological site on our own! We then visited the reconstructed houses and it was fun! There was also a Viking actor there, musician! He played Viking songs and traditional Newfie songs! I knew one, “I's the b'y”! It's also very popular back home…

Then we went to Saint-Anthony looking for a Wendy's for my boyfriend but only found a Tim Hortons, so we had a soup/roll there. Then off to Rocky Harbour for the night! On the way my boyfriend wanted to check the oil but it wasn't opening! We tried, he tried, but nope, the thingy was stuck in place. That worried him and we got a bit annoyed with each other. But I guess that was just normal, after spending all this time together, we're bound to get pissy after a while! Still we stopped at the Arches on the way which was really pretty.

In Rocky Harbour by 18h30 we checked in the B&B. The lady was less welcoming than the previous couple in Fredericton . But the room was alright. We then waited a bit for the car to cool down. And then finally the oil thingy unscrewed! We were able to put some new oil for the motor! And then we went for dinner down in town!

We went to Earle's! I had a moose stew, my boyfriend the moose burger and we shared a salad. It was very very good! We came back to the B&B and my boyfriend showered. I just lay in bed under the covers, I was too cold to move. Then it was time for sleep.
