We left Port-Aux-Basques, Newfoundland to the North! The drive went well with just a bit of rain… And we made it to the Ste-Barbe ferry with plenty of time to spare! I was anxious on the ferry crossing! I wanted to get home! 3 days of travelling is long! I was ready to see my mom!

We arrived in Blanc-Sablon! I was super excited! I was home!!! At home my mom had made dinner for us, cod, halibut, potatoes and chicoutai pies for dessert, delicious…! After dinner we gave mom her birthday presents. It was her birthday the day before… She liked the dishes and the clothes a lot I think!

Then I took my mom's car and my boyfriend finally got a break from driving! We went to the beach for a walk at sunset. It was great for me to be able to show him where I grew up and my favourite spots!
