The opening band did a pretty decent job. For Sloan, I could see that the singer was not happy with the crowd surfing and slamming, but I thought, well at a rock concert, that's normal right? He kept asking them to stop, but they did not. So the lights opened, the concert stopped. They kicked out a few guys, and then started again. I thought it was stupid they kicked some people out...! Near the end of the show, a fan threw a Nova Scotia flag on the stage. Sloan comes from Nova Scotia, so the singer wore the flag as a cape for a song, before placing it in the background. Also, at one point during the show, the guitar player said something like: "They are having a good time up there!" pointing at me and the people surrounding me. It was nice to have him acknowledge us!
