The concert was awesome! I did not know many of Sam Roberts' songs... He's a great performer, looked like he was having a great time there on stage. Later Great Big Sea came on. They were very good. Newfoundlanders really enjoy their band: jumping, singing, clapping, screaming. It was crazy! Some people tried to crowd surf but the security guards grabbed them away. GBS performed these songs and more: Excursion Around the Bay (Alan solo), Boston and St. John's, Scolding Wife, We'll Rant and We'll Roar, Clearest Indication & Old Black Rum (which the crowd kept chanting for during the encore). The guys from Sam Roberts band were all on the side of the stage for the whole show, clapping and singing too.
